DATA PRACTICE
Effective July 31, 2026
When a visitor sends an equipment or support inquiry, the form can collect name, work email, company, phone, selected welding process, available input power and a free-text description. Server logs may also record technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested page and timestamp for security and reliability purposes. Please do not place passwords, payment-card data, confidential procedure documents or sensitive personal information in a general inquiry field.
Inquiry information is used to route and answer the request, clarify equipment requirements, maintain a record of the conversation and protect the service from abuse. Process, material and power details help distinguish a selection question from a support issue. Aggregate site information may be used to understand page performance and improve navigation. Personal information is not used to make unrelated claims about welding performance.
Information may be shared with service providers that operate hosting, communications or security functions under appropriate instructions. It may also be routed to an authorized support or sales contact when that is necessary to answer the request. Disclosure can occur when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a legitimate business transfer subject to applicable safeguards. Personal information is not offered for sale through this site.
You may ask for access, correction or deletion of information associated with an inquiry, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. You may also decline optional communications. A request should include enough detail to locate the original submission without sending new sensitive information. Browser controls can limit cookies or local storage, although some site functions may then behave differently.
Administrative and technical measures are used to reduce unauthorized access, alteration and loss. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Inquiry records are retained only as long as needed for the stated purpose, legitimate operational records or applicable legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified according to the relevant process.
The effective date changes when this policy is materially revised. Questions or privacy requests may be sent through the contact page with “Privacy request” in the message. The request will be routed without requiring welding-equipment details that are unrelated to the privacy question.
